Sclerotherapy is a non surgical cosmetic procedure used to reduce and remove spider veins (telangiectasias) from the legs. Spider veins are caused by abnormal blood flow and weakening of the blood vessel wall in the affected veins. Any condition or activity that puts pressure on the veins - such as gaining weight, and sitting or standing for long periods of time - can contribute to the development of spider veins.

Sclerotherapy treatments begin with a medical consultation to determine the need and the number of treatments appropriate for the individual. Each treatment session is approximately one hour and will be performed in our medical treatment center. A medical practitioner will inject a solution into the affected veins with a very fine needle. Each injection covers about one inch of the vein. After one area is injected and bandaged, the practitioner will proceed to the next area. The number of areas to be treated will be determined by the number of veins needing treatment.

Most patients report a high degree of satisfaction with the procedure a relief at no longer having to hide unsightly veins.

It is a clear gel containing a purified form of hyaluronic acid, which adds volume lost during the aging process by temporarily smoothing out facial lines and wrinkles. CaptiqueTM Injectable is injected just under the skin's surface in order to temporarily correct wrinkles.

Hylaform® Gel dermal filler is indicated for injection into the mid to deep dermis for correction of moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.

CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® are the first FDA approved dermal fillers available for smoothing wrinkles, filling furrows (deep wrinkles) and restoring the border of the lip using a human collagen.
